Website Subscription Agreement

1. The service

A website subscription gives you a professionally set-up business website built on Cholan Technology Solutions Limited's website platform, hosted and maintained by us for as long as your subscription is active. It is a service, not a one-off sale of software.

2. Plans and fees

• Monthly plan: $25 per month.
• Annual plan: $270 per year.
• Domain registration: $15 per domain per year, charged separately from the subscription.

Where you are billed in Naira, the Naira amount shown at checkout applies. Current prices are published on the Website Plans page.

3. What is included

• Standard website setup and configuration
• Responsive website design
• Hosting
• SSL security
• Basic SEO configuration
• WhatsApp integration
• Contact and enquiry forms
• Standard branding and customisation
• Routine platform maintenance and updates
• Supported website dashboard and content management

4. What is not included

The following are outside the standard plan and are quoted and charged separately:

• Domain registration ($15/year, charged separately)
• Additional customisation beyond the standard setup
• Custom portals, web applications and mobile apps
• Advanced e-commerce and marketplace features
• Third-party integrations beyond WhatsApp and contact forms
• Content writing, copywriting and photography
• Ongoing SEO management and paid advertising

The standard plan is for a business website. It does not include unlimited pages, unlimited changes, unlimited support, custom software, customer or staff portals, mobile apps or bespoke functionality. These are available through Custom Development.

5. Content and updates

You supply the text, images and branding for your website and confirm you have the right to use them. Minor content updates included in your plan are reasonable edits to existing content (for example changing text, prices, opening hours or images). Redesigns, new sections, new features or large volumes of changes are treated as additional work.

6. Billing and renewal

• Your subscription starts when your first payment is verified, and each billing period runs for one month or one year.
• If you choose automatic renewal, your card or payment method is charged at the start of each new period through Paystack or Flutterwave until you cancel. Otherwise we email you a renewal invoice before your period ends.
• We send renewal reminders before annual renewals and before monthly renewals, and we email you if a renewal payment fails.
• Payments are only treated as received once verified with the payment provider.

7. Missed payments, grace period and suspension

If a renewal payment is not received by the end of your billing period, your subscription becomes past due and a grace period of 7 days begins. Your website stays online during the grace period. If payment is still outstanding at the end of the grace period, we may suspend your website (take it offline or display a holding page). Paying the outstanding invoice restores the service. If a subscription stays suspended for 60 days we may close it and delete the website and its content.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your customer dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your website stays live until the end of the period you have already paid for. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy for refunds.

9. Ownership

• Your content and brand: you own the text, images, logos, trademarks and data you provide.
• Your domain: domains registered for you are registered in your name and remain yours. See the Domain Ownership and Renewal Policy.
• Our platform: the website platform, themes, templates, components, code, hosting configuration and tools we use to run your website remain the property of Cholan Technology Solutions Limited (or our licensors). Your subscription gives you the right to use them for your website while your subscription is active. It does not transfer ownership of, or a licence to copy or resell, our platform.

10. Leaving the service

When your subscription ends, we will, on request made within 30 days, provide a copy of the content you supplied (text and images). We will also help you point your domain to a new provider. Exporting the website's design or platform code is not included; if you want a website you own outright, we can quote for a one-off custom build.

11. Availability and support

We aim to keep websites available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, as hosting depends on third-party infrastructure. Support is provided by email, phone or WhatsApp during our business hours, within the limits of your plan.

12. Search engines

We set up basic on-page SEO (titles, descriptions, sitemap and search engine submission). We do not guarantee any position in Google or other search engines.

13. General

Our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy also apply. We may update this agreement and our prices; changes take effect from your next billing period, and we will give active subscribers at least 30 days' notice of price increases.
